Upon his arrival, Snake was the first person Darc's met and he certainly made an impression on Darc, if only for the odd suit of armour he wore. He's also surprised about the lack of comment on his appearance.

The most unexpected alliance in History? Perhaps so. Either way Darc still has no patience to babysit some weak human girl who's short of half her wits (not to say all) but his conscience just won't let him rest until he at least makes sure doesn't come to harm. Either way he'll make sure to let her know how much of a nuisance she is...only not so directly. What, he has a weakness for human girls... He sort of made it his job to look out for her. Temporarily.
