Kira worked on the other side of the counter helping a customer find the section they wanted when his eyes drifted up to the door. He was shocked to see Masao there. "Masao?" he heistitated not sure if he was really seeing the boy.

Masao remained standing by the door. He shifted his weight, causing him to sway back and forth. Kira had spoken his name. He had uttered Masao’s name, and though he had said it softly, Masao could hear it, see it, feel it. Insecurities flooded his mind, darkening his vision as he watched Kira, showing more skin than Masao had ever seen him show. The two guys at the counter, both of who were discussing the costume, made it obvious that they were looking at Kira’s outfit. Masao opened his mouth as if he were about to speak something, but instead he lurched forward, grasping the closest boy and slamming his fist into him.
