Heartbreak - sad or angsty fic
Continuation - fic that goes beyond the end of the series or a character's life
Steamy - sexy fic, can be PWP (porn without plot) or porn with plot
Short Fic - drabbles which are too short to be considered a story but still deserve notice
Romantic - romantic fic
Epic - Novel length fic, 50,000 words +
Unconventional Pairing - pairing between unconventional characters that is surprising
AU - outside of cannon
Pre-Series - before start of series
Minor Character - fic focused on a minor character, ie one who appears in 3 or fewer episodes
Outstanding Bite - best bite scene for vampire fandoms
Perfect Kiss - best kiss
Steamiest Sex Scene - best sex scene
Short And Steamy - sexiest drabble
Best of Bondage - best bondage scene
Oustanding Overall - best fic of any sort
