Rules For Judging
1) Judges are chosen based on their availibility and experience with the fandoms they volunteer for.
2) Anyone who wishes to be a judge must demonstrate grammatical proficiency. Usually this entails a moderator skimming over a prospective judge's fanfic or journal. We're not asking for perfection, just a basic knowlege of writing mechanics.
3) Although having a Livejournal Account is encouraged, we will consider someone who doesn't have a journal provided that they can satisfy us by some other means that they are qualified and fit to serve as a judge.
4) If you are nominated, you still may judge but you will not be allowed to judge any categories in which you are nominated. No exceptions.
5) Judges are expected to meet their judging deadline or to inform us no less than 10 days before the end of judging if they will be unable to meet their obligation so an alternate may be brought in.
6) When judging, your results should be presented in a clear and concise manner. Any communication with the community moderators should be civil, professional and businesslike. Personal tirades about nominees are unacceptable, uncalled for and will result in being banned from the Forsaken Awards.
