The day is just packed. . .sort of
1. I'm dropping off boxes and paint at Vitha's.
2. I'm replacing my digital camera. Even the cheapest of cameras will be more capable than my dinosaur.
3. I'm getting an external hard drive so I can back this computer up.
4. I'm pricing TVs that can be used as monitors so in one machine I can watch TV or work on the computer.
5. I'm pricing out switches so I can swap views between my dying machine and my get my old desktop back up and running and watch it as well. So I can run a job on one machine and websurf on the other.
6. I have a social obligation this afternoon. I'm not feeling it, but I've been blowing this acquaintance off for a while and this is a housewarming thing, so to not alienate the person completely I have to go.
7. My tendonitis is back in almost full force. (I weeded roses yesterday and witch grass SUCKS!)
8. Tomorrow I have a full day of work but at lunch I'm going to a Star Trek meetup and watch the Star Wars movies --- then I'm going back to work.
9. Auditors in the building on Monday! Yipee. I've got files to finish and a project to start and data entry to do. Why I'm going in tomorrow.
10. I'm likely going to need a new computer soon. Work has an employee deal with Dell, but I like my IBM (now Lenovo).
A lottery win of about $5000 would be good right about now.
Any suggestions on any of the following would be good:
A. Small flat screen TVs that take computer input and will act as a monitor.
B. Switches so I can view more than one computer on said TV.
C. Dell or Lenovo laptops and desktops.
