yeah...

thats right...

i am blogging in the middle of a lecture in medical school...that should let you all know that its just not that bad...

of course...this is PDS or patient doctor and society...

currently we are talking about ethics...

i think im pretty good on that topic...i tend to be a very ethical person...or so i believe...

in addition to this i am having a facebook chat conversation with a guy in the class, and a wall chat with katie...

so maybe i need to brush up on my ethics as far as paying attention in class goes...

so this is week 2 of medical school...last week was ok...it was orientation so it was like one long social activity...

i met a bunch of people and made a few friends...

im thinking of trying to get a band together...why not...we have a bunch of free time...

classes run basically from 10-3(not this week though) usually...and there are two afternoons a week that have activities for ICM(introduction to clinical medicine)

on the 18th fundamentals one starts...that hasnt deterred them from assigning about 150 pages of reading to get us ready for it....

i found out that i am a fearn fellow...as far as i know its not anything special...its just anybody that selects to do their clinical rotations in huntsville...

my pds group is doing our team project on the theme of doing right....

your eyes are working correctly...team project...the kind of thing i thought i was leaving behind in high school that followed me to college and now to medical school....

they are however trying to increase the medicine as a team sport mentality...including the team building activities during orientation that helped get my picture in the birmingham news...front page of the local news section from the 31st...

blargh...blargh...

well ok then..i think thats about it...i think we are getting ready to go on lunch break...

maybe more to come later....who knows...

Soli Deo Gloria
