overdue
So its been a while since my last update, i even had one person come up to me at church this week who i didnt even know kept up with this kind of stuff and say he had stumbled across my blog...hang on one second...
i had to swap over to my wireless keyboard...i love my new laptop, but i have never really been a fan of the mini keyboard and trackpad...so i used a piece of that bestbuy card to get me a wireless keyboard and mouse which is pretty much awesome...
i also went ahead and installed deer avenger on this computer...its pretty good...about as good as i remember it being...
i havent really been using the laptop very much, it is just currently a lot more convenient to use the desktop that is already set up and usually running in the third bedroom
so whats been going on in my life for the last 2 1/2 weeks?
well, for one i did get the rural scholarship/loan which means that the great majority of my medical school will be paid by the state legislature via the wonderful taxpayers of alabama...
thank you taxpayers of alabama!!
i sold the trailer, i dont know if i put that in an earlier post, let me check...nope nothing in here about selling the trailer...
i sold the trailer a while ago, did not get nearly as much as i should have for it, but i guess that is ok...
amanda and i found a place in bham to live for the next couple of years...its in fultondale which is at exit 267 off i-65...there is a target, bestbuy, books a million, lowes, ocharleys, chilis, whataburger, winn dixie...basically everything you need to exist at that exit...
then there is a walmart up the road at gardendale, which is exit 271...there is also this amazing mexican place there called habaneros....
i finally went ahead and rehooked my cable up in my bedroom...mainly so i could sit here and watch the nba playoffs while i type...currently at the end of the third quarter, the lakers are beating the nuggets by ten...
All that i have left before i finish the RMP is a final exam in the health admin class on monday night...it will probably be a lot harder than it should be, but what can you do...tonight we had the final dinner over at arricia which was really good...i had the salmon...
the program is over, im starting medical school in july...i havent quite come to grips with it yet, i joined the UAB network on facebook...signed up for my blazernet account, and then found a facebook group for UASOM class of 2012...things are starting to look more and more like med school every day...
this past week i created two events on facebook...they are the first mangerie parties that i know anything about...google doesnt really come up with anything that i think is relative...
basically they are your typical tool and gadget parties, with the added twist of trying to find some kind of crazy undies for your buddies that are about to get married...
im throwing them for paul and clay my two good buddies that are getting married, on may 20th and may 22nd respectively...
katie and i have now been dating a little more than 14 months, and going strong still...she still rocks my socks off...
there is another LJer out there who now knows that feeling...congratulations tex...
i dont guess i have too much else to say right now...
