thats right ladies and gents...i bought my laptop...
i have a toshiba satellite and its pretty much awesome...
i got it at office depot yesterday for $650!!!!!
it has all the top of the line specs that you would find in a $1000 machine, in fact this one is normally priced at $850, it just had a rebate that i mailed in today...
the joys of wireless computing...ive never updated my blog from my bed before...its most definitely more comfortable...
and as far as im concerned, i was worried about the small keyboard...i wanted a model with a full size keyboard w/ number pad, but they had sold the last one of those...but i think i am liking my choice...those are a good bit heavier than this one...
i also got the most awesome printer in the history of mankind...an HP C7280...its wireless...and unlike other wireless printers i have known...mine works...
i printed off an email this morning...it was pretty awesome...i clicked print..and down the hall i hear the printer kick on and start printing...i was stoked...
it also prints photos directly from media...just take your sd out of your camera and stick it in the printer, select your photos and instantly you have high gloss 4x6s...
both of these amazing pieces of technology for just $965!!!!
im beside myself with giddiness...
so what else is new in my life...
i got a credit card this week...which is a big financial step for me, im a little scared and at the same time a little excited...it is nearly maxed out between my computer, printer, and the wii that i bought katie...
she had a best buy gift card that she got for christmas...only problem...best buy rarely has wiis...so i bought her one at gamestop on the visa and took her best buy card...so now i have to find some way to spend the best buy card...so if anyone is in the market for some new electronics let me know...
i could just buy accessories with it...i really want a wireless keyboard and mouse...as well as a docking station and external hard drive...although this thing has 250 gigs on it which is more than 4 times the space on my desktop...
i found out this week that i will be paul's best man...that was a week ago today...last saturday night...we went to columbus this week...however you spell that God forsaken place...to get tuxes...we got lost a couple of times....so confusing...
i went to montgomery today to meet with several members of the alabama board of medical scholarships...hopefully i will know soon that i get the rural medical loan...this will basically pay for medical school...and that will be pretty much great...
in less than 2 months i will be leaving auburn...its kinda sad...ive been asked twice this week if i would miss it and i think i will, mainly the people though...not necessarily the place itself and definitely not the classes...
ive been doing busy work all weekend so far on this stupid HADM class...4 page paper, synopsis, special project, presentation, bunch of junk...
at least in not still in medical anthropology...
i guess that about wraps it up for now...
