Vienna, Austria!

Ok the rain had followed us every single day of our trip except for maybe 2 days in Venice. But everyone we've talked to has had the same experience so apparently Europe is just having a rough time with weather. We had a good day in Vienna today and got to see most everything that we wanted to. We saw a really cool church, Stephansdom in the center of town, lots of shopping streets and pretty drives on the tram, the Danube River, several really cool palaces. This one palace was in the middle of a huge park with wonderful gardens all around. They were also setting up for a big outdoor concert event in front of the castle so we walked all around that. It was pretty fun. We hiked up to the top of the hill so we could see the whole city! Beautiful! On our way home we stopped at the Bankomat ATM and randomly ran into Emily Thrasher and Leigh Kimbrough, from my plegde class at Auburn, and a bunch of other AU students that they were with. That was soo weird!! We talked to them for a while and turns out they're staying at our same hostel. So we got to hang out some and Emily lent Steph some shoes to were tonight. haha.
The reason she needed shoes was because we were going to the Opera at the Vienna Royal Opera House. We saw Manon Lescaut by Giacomo Pucini and it was great. We got really good seats too in one of those cool side private boxes. Fun stuff! Now we're back at the hostel trying to do some laundry because everything I have smells bad. We head out to Prague tomorrow to meet up with Wes and Caleb. I miss you all! Bye
