PLOT SUGGESTIONS TEST POST

OKAY IT'S THAT TIME.

/cough

I have two plotty things I would like to bring up so uh, here we go:

MINI-PLOT THING 1: HEXES AROUND MJOLNIR

Loki witnessed Mjolnir being cast down along with Thor, and has heard the All-Father ensorcell the hammer with this: Whosoever wields this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor. Because Odin is a jerk who made it so that anyone worthy of Mjolnir could lift it (like Beta Ray Bill in the comics), he knows there's a chance someone else could lift it, thereby keeping Thor mortal until... he dies, I guess.

And Loki is not going to overlook this at all.

SO. He will be casting runes and spells and jinxes around Mjolnir so that it wouldn't get lifted by anyone else (except maybe himself or Thor). There are three degrees of spells he's going to cast:

Around the perimeter of the crater - illusions. Whether it's a mound of earth the breadth of a building or a giant boulder, or a clump of trees, or an uninhabitable building, people will see something there that isn't there. Magical beings and the like will sense it, though, and people could walk right past it if they wanted. Though, there is that crater slope...
Three-five meters from Mjolnir (in any direction) - Electric shocks, the likes of which Gungnir could throw. The closer to Mjolnir you get, whether from above or under or straight on, the stronger it'll zap you, but when you get past that there's about three feet of safe zone between Mjolnir and the shock-wall.
Directly around Mjolnir (in any direction) - Auto-teleport if you cannot lift it. You could get sent to drop over the ocean from 50 meters up. Or teleported to someone else's shower, or into a jail cell. You could even be teleported underground. :D
IMPORTANT NOTE - These spells, when in effect, are going to tax Loki because he doesn't have access to certain Asgardian tech/stuff here that he can use as a secondary power source, so until Thor gets to lift it, he'll be operating on 40%-60% overall power, even less if someone's attacking the area/if he's being distracted.

Basically Loki's going to make it really hard for people to get to the hammer, since he cannot actually ensorcell Mjolnir; only the All-Father can. Anyone worthy to lift it can, Loki's just being a shit and making it troublesome to reach the hammer.

MINI-PLOT THING 2: WINTER WONDERWASTELAND

Come December, Loki's going to do something pretty crazy: attempt to bring the Casket of Ancient Winters to Bete Noire. In the movie he summons the Casket during his 60-second fight with Heimdall, and by the end of it turns Jotun blue. With Thor in the city and not remembering the whole RAAAAR shenanigans, and Loki's never-ending questioning of his identity, he's going to try and see if he didn't just go mad and hallucinated the argument with Odin.

He's not a very stable person.

ANYWAY since apparently not even Winter Planet Jotunheim was cold enough to override Odin's glamour, Loki's going to call forth the Casket - and fail. Why? Plot 1. His magic is going to go wonky and break in the middle of the summoning, and Loki ends up unleashing some of the Casket's winter onto the city. It could last a week, it could last the whole month; the point is that it's going to be an unnaturally cold winter, because ancient winters, guys. It's thousands of years of Ice Age neatly packaged in a crystal box, and Loki's going to summon that and break it. Loki's going to be two-tone for a while too, with one arm and half of his upper body turned blue until the winter goes away.

...Thoughts? Also all the edits for readability and typos. :E
