oh my god i have been in happy tears for over 24 hours.
just reading evryone's posts here made me cry
history has forver been changed because of me and my peers. america is changing. and i am so proud.
last night was insane,we all crammed into the campus center, huge screens all over the place, cheering after each state was called, after each senator won
i was shocked when he got florida, shocked by pensylvanis (and so much too), SHOCKED by ohio.....and sooooo proud of my state for being the one to officially make this dream a reality
we counted down the last second till the polls closed and as soon as we hit 1 BARACK OBAMA 44th PRESIDENT flashed up ont he screen and i started crying, people we screaming, hugging, kissing, laughing it was amazing
we ran through the streets we chaanted and even sang our national anthem for the first time in 8 years actually being proud of where we came from
more voters than ever turned out for this election, more youth voters than ever imagined, we aare changin the world, we aare saying that we are done with all this bullshit
we are saying look at us, as people, as one
i have been watching his speech, it filled me with so much hope, and that is EXACTLY what we need right now
the final shot of biden's faamily and obama's family mixed all together on the stage, happy together was amazing
congradulation america we did it
congradulation freshman 12' for being the youngest voters
congradulations to all of our grandparents whp put aside all they have ever known
tonight we united all ages, genders, races, sexualities....because this was so much bigger than all those things

and i am so happy and PROUD to be an american
