Chapter ... um... the new one.
Today, I got off work and headed for my car. My boss caught up with me and told me he was letting me go. He paid me for the rest of the month, and said so long.
So, I'm out of a job. Since I was planning on looking for a new one after the Summer anyway, I'm not too broken up over it. I don't have any doubt that this will last exactly as long as I let it.
When I started typing this, I figured I'd use this as an opportunity to express why I was planning on finding a new job on my own, but then I realized that it really doesn't matter. I'm free to find my new path to fortune (hehe) and what led to it is pretty much irrelevant. Tomorrow I'll call EDD, take the weekend to breathe, and start the hunt fresh Monday morning.
Change is necessary for growth.
