I ran my first live show at the station this afternoon. It was kind of empowering to be able to control exactly what went on the air from my tiny little table inside the studio. It was also very frightening knowing the boss was only next door listening in, especially when I kept forgetting what to throw in during the breaks. If anything, I developed a newfound respect for old people and there concern for their children's education (after hearing them talk about it for nearly 2 hours.)
