So, my grandmother has swine flu.

The full story is that a few days after she visited in July, and even during she visited, she hadn't been feeling well. Once she got back however, she was getting bad headaches enough that she couldn't sleep. A few days later, her ears were hurting. Now, her doctor wouldn't be back until Monday and it was Thursday so she went to emergency care. Not the hospital, those little clinics you can go to. They said she was lucky because she had blood and puss in both of her ears and would have gone deaf in a few days. As such, she got medicine to drain it.

A while later then, it drained, but she was getting bad fevers and etc. She went to see her doctor and they said she had a flu of some sort as well as infections. They weren't sure which flu yet, but they gave her more medicine and then sent her home.

About another few days later, it turns out she has swine flu. She was told to go to the hospital, get more tests and everything.

They thought for a while that it was... meningitus, or whatever it's spelled. Fluid from the spinal chord into the brain anyway. Which is what the elderly and very young get if they get it, apparently. She doesn't have that. Instead she has a kidney swollen and infected as well as her stomache (IDEK how). They told her to go back and now she's supposed to drive to the hospital herself.

...I'm a bit scared for her and I'm getting sick as well. I'm really glad she's been calling a lot... and now I've been getting bad headaches too... but my throat hurts and i've vomitted at least once. I'm going to go to the doctor tomorrow if I don't get any better.
And school just started this week...
