1) Where did you ring in 2006?
At home... surrounded by friends who understood why I needed to be there.
2) What was your status by Valentine's Day?
Single, but having LOTS of fun ;)
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Yup, but that's only because I am a teacher.
4) How did you earn your keep?
See above answer, being a teacher.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
My Uncle had a heart attack so I visited him. My dad had surgery so I visited him. Myself, no, almost this past weekend but luckily it was OK.
6) Did you encounter the police?
Generally yes but not for being on the wrong side of them.
7) Where did you go on vacation?
Well Londona dn Blackpool were the only hot spots for me this year. Next year, somehow, it will be Russia!
8) What did you purchase that was over $500?
Oh yes, my car which cost around $18,000 :)
9) Did you know anybody who got married?
I found out some people had got married, but not this year, if that counts?...
10) Do you know anybody who passed away?
Yes.
11) Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with?
Yes actually, I spent some time with Anna and it was lovely.
12) Did you move anywhere?
No.
13) What sporting events did you go to?
Ice Skating baby!!!
14) What concerts did you go to?
Um, God can;t remember really. Ludovico Einaudi (obviously was the greatest concert ever!), Robbie Williams, Will Young, eeeerm, that's all I can remember!
15) Are you registered to vote?
Yup.
16) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov. 17th?
No, being that I am British and not American. But I did my British duty :)
17) Where do you live now?
At home.
18) Describe your birthday.
Only three words needed...IT WAS FAB!
19) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
I got over someone I thought would always be in my heart, mainly be finally seeing them for what they are.
20) What is one thing you regretted this year?
Holding myself back from certain things that I should have let go with.
21) What's something you learned about yourself?
That the relationship I have with myself is the most important one I will ever have, and I made that relationship work this year.
22) Any new additions to your family?
Nope.
23) What was your best month?
August. It was an incredible month for me with so much change, newness, experience, excitemnt and growth. I was having the time of my life, and it felt amazing.
24) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by?
Reality TV shows I think.
25) How would you rate this year with a scale from 1 (shitty) to 10 (excellent)?
I guess first half of the year would be around a 4, second half of the year would be around an 8.
