My Year - A Meme
Okies I have been out of action for awhile and still am sort of, due to being quite sick at the moment. However I can't resist a good meme and this one certainly seemed like fun to me...

1. Who kissed you at midnight?: Kevin
2. Did you have a new year's resolution this year? Yes, and I kept it for the most part thanks :)
3. Does it snow where you live? Sometimes it does and it's so beautiful and pretty. I hope it does this year.
4. Do you like hot chocolate?: Oooh yeah, with Bailys, and marshmellows...mmm
5. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop?: Nope
6. Where were you for the first moment of the New Year? In my house.

1. Who was your Valentine?: Um...Nathaniel I think :)
2. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?: Nope.
3. Do you care if the groundhog sees its shadow or not?: The what and huh? I guess this is an American thing...
4. Do you like it when you can see your breath frost in the air? Oh yes, I really do.
5. Admit it, ever tried to make a special Valentine's dinner and botched it horribly? Nope. I am an exquisite cook, especially when it comes to special meals.
6. Who the hell celebrates Presidents Day? You American peoples?

1. Are you Irish? Isn;t everyone? haha...Partly yes thanks to my father.
2. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day?: Not that I recall.
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2006?: According to my diary, which I would be lost without, I was in London with Tony.
4. Are you happy when winter is pretty much over?: Nope, I love Winter.
5. Are you a Pisces? Nope but my friend Catherine is.
6. Have you ever had green beer? Ew no, though I did have green eggs and ham once in Seuss land.

2. Did you play an April Fools joke on anyone this year? Nope.
3. Do you get tons of candy on Easter?: I get some but I generally ask not to otherwise I would just eat it all.
4. Do you celebrate 4/20?: Hm, why is that a holiday? According to my diary I was off work but no idea what I was doing that day.
5. How long did you believe in the Easter Bunnny? I don't think I ever did. Stuff like that isn;t big over here in the UK.
6. Did you spent Easter in church? Some of it yes.

1. What's your favorite kind of flower?: White roses, tied in a black ribbon with one red one in the middle :)
2. Do you like the spring?: Not really.

4. What is the first color you think of when you think of spring?: Green, but I guess most people do.
5. Is it hot where you live in May? Not usually but the weather the past few years has been insane and odd so perhaps.
6. Did you get anything exciting? In May? Let's see. I got sick at the start of May. I paid rent. I got to see the Rat Pack and to celebrate Kevin's birthday which is always fun. I got my job. I got to see Ludovico Einaudi (still one of my best experiences this year) play live. Oh and I got to go to London with Kas and see 'We will rock you' and 'Chicago', and stay at Tony's and have oodles of fun! I also got out of my engagement to a no hope no good loser who values drugs and lying above people. Wow, guess I was busy in May! Good Month!

1. What year did/will you graduate from highschool?: I graduated in June 1995.
2. Did you realize nothing special happens in June? That's not true. June saw the start of my passion for ice skating, which led to the best summer of my life, ever!
3. Were you born in June? Nope. But my ex future mother in law was and I adore her :)
4. When was the last time you went on "summer vacation"? Man, this whole summer was one long vacation for me!!
5. How many brothers and sisters do you have? One brother.
6. Do you have a pool? Nope, in Manchester - are you mad?!

1. What did you do on the Fourth of July?I went to a conference of reflection.
2. Did you go on any vacations during this month? Yup to Blackpool at the end of the month and it was AWESOME!
3. Do you blast the A/C all day?: Nope, see the Manchester part!
4. Blown anything up lately? Nope.
5. Were you glad that the year was half over? Yes I really was.
6. How hot did it get? haha very hot...but Im guessing you mean the weather ;p

1. Did you do anything special at the end of your summer?: Yes. Celebrated the birth of ME!
2. What was your favorite summer memory of '06?: There are a few contenders right now. Can't choose one actually!
3. Did you have a sunburn?: Yes actually I did - from Blackpool oddly enough!
4. Do you go to the beach a lot?: Yup.
5. How many Star Trek reruns did you watch? NONE!
6. Did you have a tan? Yup.

2. Who is/was your favorite teacher?: Me! haha no, Mrs Cheyne, my psych teacher who I am still good friends with.
3. Do you like fall better than summer?: Yes, and winter even moreso.
4. Is it still hot? No it is freezing but since I spend half my life in an ice arena, it doesn;t matter all that much!
5. What was the best book you read so far this year? Um...'Submission' I think.

1. What was your Halloween costume?: I didn't dress up for it.
2. What's your favorite candy? Leonadis Strawberry Creams...
3. What did you dress up as last year?: I didn't.
4. Are you a Scorpio? Nope.
5. How many pounds of junk food did you eat at parties? God knows. Tend not to eat junk food at parties.
6. How many parties did you go to? God...quite a few actually!

1. Whose house did you go to for Thanksgiving?: Kas's as we went ice skating.
2. Do you love stuffing?: Sage and Onion stuffing rules all.
3. What are you thankful for?: Karen. Friends. Rain. Earl Grey Tea. Ice skating. Chance encounters. Kissing and some of the best kisses I've had. The past becoming your present and hopefully your future. And that some things can end.
4. Yams or sweet potatoes? Mashed white potatoes actually.
5. Is it cold yet? Yes, freezing.

3. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe?: Yes. Aw it was sweet too :)
4. Get anything special last year?: Not a damn thing actually. It was the worst Christmas I have ever had or will probably ever have.

6. Do you like cold weather? Yup I really do, freak that I am.
