first: Love Song sequel is turning out... different than I intended it to. A little more stream of consciousness and angsty, I guess? I don't even know. I'm just trying to decide if it's good-different or bad-different.
The diner is busy in the middle of the day, kids demanding dessert in loud voices and their parents, even louder, trying to quiet them. There are always at least two people getting up at a given moment and wandering around, dodging waitresses on their way to the bathroom or whatever it is they're looking for. The waitresses just fix smiles on their faces and keep their trays balanced, unloading plates and pouring coffee into mugs as quickly as they can.
Ryan's not sure what Pete likes about this place, but they always seem to end up coming here. Sometimes Ryan wonders if Pete ever brings other people, brings Patrick, but he doesn't ask.
second: It kind of amuses me how like a high school LJ is. I mean, Dee already knows that, since I wrote her LJ High, but it's kept popping back into my head even more fervently ever since I found Wentzdom. I mean, there's definitely this big group of popular people, who from what I've spoken to are really nice, and they're all pretty much friends with each other. I dunno, it's amusing to me.
I've decided I'm the mildly antisocial person in the corner who doesn't really speak except to hand in papers and shit. Actually, that's pretty much what I am in real life, too... *laughs* Well, I don't know. I think I'm more social in real life, possibly.
Anyhow. I found it funny, at least. *grins*
