This is so great, I love Pirate AUs and your girl!Brendon is incredibly charming. Sweet angsty UST, what with us knowing it's her Jon and all.

Oh, am I ever enjoying this story so, so much. Just two things:
at this point about about Spencer just wanting to talk to Brendon Just the one about?

and

but then, it's fucking dark in her. Which made me lol, but in here probably?

And there were two other ones but I can't remember them. Off to Act Three!!

Whoops. *smacks forehead* Even with a beta, sometimes you miss these things. I'll look for the other ones. Thanks for pointing that out!

Just break my heart all over the place, why don't you. :(

I don't know why it makes me so sad, because her Jon is their Jon, and as long as he actually recognises her - he will, right? Because you've held it all off for so long already, all the different threads kept separate and not joining, not bouncing into the complicated and interwoven mass they are, it'd be cruel for him not to - everything will be so happy!

You're a tease, you are.

Hmm. *grins* Well, I guess you've already found out by now, haven't you? And really, I don't mean to tease, precisely... Teasing implies that I won't follow through, after all. The dramatic irony is just too delicious not to play with.

Oh, yes. Lots and lots of porn. The more recent stuff tends to star really cute, dark-haired boys with great asses. And Gabe's mysterious actions are always quite fun to write and speculate about!

Don't be too harsh on Brendon! Better that she continue to remind herself that it's not her Jon, than to have false hope and be disappointed, in the end. If she let herself believe it was her Jon and it wasn't - after all, Jon is a rather common name - she would be devastated.
