formerfetus is displaying some extrodinaryly admirable traits:
courage: yes. But not because she is afraid, or that she is doing this with out telling her parents. Courage: The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery.
The procedure is dangerous to her body. She is saving her life, by delaying plans for children until she feels ready enough for this responsibility. (However, this in now way makes her irresponsible.) She is saving this child from issues that it may face while growing up, because she is not ready. The child is better off being born later, that obviously is not possible.
*She is taking responsibility for herself and the being inside of her. Stepping up to the plate and doing what she thinks is right for her and Stewart.
I want to know how old you are. I would like to know at 19 years old if you would have the balls to tell your parents something like this. The reason she is not telling them be be similar to anyones. If you have the courage to go through with an abortion, I truely believe that you will also have the courage to tell your parents, at any age that you had an abortion. However, relationships with parents can sometimes be difficult. Because you dont know formerfetus relationship with her parents, what it is like or what they are like. However some of our parents are very much stuck in that old school somewhat ignorant way of thinking (much like yourself mind you), that abortion is something to be shamed. Perhaps she feels as if her parents will feel ashamed because of the occurances leading up to the impregnation. Which she already feels remorse for, and realizes that it was a mistake. A freak accident from my point of view.
She displays many other traits. But none, that I want to spend any more time explaining to you, as I've spent to much time on your as it is, and there are many posts to read.
