Ansel was doing his "quiet time" yesterday, which is either an episode of Dora the Explorer, or a nap - he chooses, and invariably chooses not to nap. Regardless. He had a bowl of diced apple with cinnamon and even though he had a fork, was grabbing fistfuls of apple and stuffing them in his mouth. I hadn't noticed at first, but then I said something about it.
"You can use a fork and put as many pieces in your mouth as you can fit, or you can use your hand and take one piece at a time." He didn't like that one bit. I could see he was thinking about starting a tantrum, but then he raised his arms up, said "oh, man!" and put his arms down in disgust.
Oh, man!
It's the hardest Julie and I have ever struggled not to burst out laughing.
