Oh, tempting, pristine snow
Just as much of the Michigan snow was melting, a good-natured storm laid down seven inches before I even got out of the driveway. Pristine snow, soon to be cut up by 205- and 225-wide tires.
When I came home (after taking a deeply snow-rutted unpaved detour), the snow plow had thrown up I don't know how many inches; clearly too much for the 4.5-inches of ground clearance I had. Snow plows in subdivisions do no good at all. I had to shovel all that snow out of the way, then drove through the now-10-inches on the driveway. That I can handle. Plowed snow I can't.
