First, an announcement. I enrolled because not having a degree stood in the way of my career advancing. Now, after just four weeks, it's already paid of: I've been made leader of my team. My current team leader is moving on. So, after a year or so of shadowing Jim, my first team leader, then six months of being acting team lead, then two years of shadowing James, with six weeks of acting team lead, I finally, officially make the grade. Who knew college was that easy, and effective!
Last week's class intimidated me. This week's assignment is the Response Essay, and while I can write a response with relative ease, doing so with all the "rules" and "restraints" in mind that the textbook sums up becomes daunting. I am supposed to be writing a response essay now, and I know what I want to say (the analysis and outline is easy), but I am frightened of making structural mistakes.
I know, I should just write it, and it'll be fine. But I'm not happy with class right now. I should have picked Macro 202, after all!
In the past, I have identified a subject I learned about in class, and practiced it here. Today, I am not going to do that. The practice is in the essay itself, which I will turn in, but not post here. Sorry, readers.
