18th Proclamation: [Action]

[Neliel can be found in the Battle Dome early today, preparing a new battle simulation. She's pretty involved in it so it would seems like it would be pretty easy to sneak up on her, but if anyone gets too close she'll turn her head pretty quickly

[Luffy decides to be a watcher for now and he'll be observing her battle with that... guy he has no idea who that is. He assumes it's some kind of evil Skullface guy from their world, but from the way she's attacking him it seems almost as if she has some kinda vendetta against him hmmm. Well he'll just be over here watching you from the safety of the viewing area place! o/]

[Nel doesn't even seem to realize she has an audience, she's so focused on her enemy. She doesn't let up on him for even a moment, kicking and even headbutting him when her swords tied up with his... whatever the heck that thing is.

The really fun part comes when she leaps back to give herself some space, though. As he starts to charge at her, she opens her mouth wide and fires a friggin laser beam right into his face, which explodes.]

I forgot she could fire those!! That's so awesome!

[Can you tell the boy is excite? Man part of him just wants to run down to the battlefield and fight too. HMMM.]

[You're welcome to try it, Luffy, but be warned... as that kick across the room just demonstrated, she's not paying all that much attention to her surroundings.]

[Really? Well surely a Luffy running straight up behind her won't cause for any kind of reaction.]

Oooooi! Neeeel!

[former_third]

[The moment she senses something coming up behind her, she whirls, blade out, to slice it in half, assuming it's Nnoitra.

Only as her blade is about to hit Luffy's neck does she realize, and check her strike inches from his skin.]

L-Luffy?

[He leans back as the blade is coming at him so he can dodge it when suddenly-- oh the blade stopped.]

Y-yeah!

[former_third]

[She lowers her blade and sighs in relief that she didn't actually hurt him.]

That was close. Are you alright? I'm sorry...

Shishishi! It's alright. It's not like I couldn't have dodged it anyway. [Barely, but he would've dodged.]

Anyway, I seen you down here fighting so I decided to join in! I also thought I'd throw in an old enemy of mine to make things interesting.

I'm sure you could have. [That gets a smile out of her. Luffy really is impressive in a fight.]

An enemy of yours? [She glances over at Nnoitra, who is now standing there staring blankly into space as a result of Luffy barging in. She wonders how well he'd work with whoever Luffy is thinking of.] Who did you have in mind?

Lucci!

[And sure enough, as if on cue, a man in a top hat with a bird on his shoulder strolls up casually with both hands in his pockets while looking all nonchalant and such.]

I beat him, but it felt like I was going to die near the end of our fight. Be careful okay?

[Nel looks him over, intrigued.]

He's that powerful? Alright, I won't let my guard down.

[Nnoitra slips into a fighting stance, a disturbing grin on his face as he looks at Nel. He doesn't seem to even notice Luffy.]

This is gonna be so much fun! Hmm. Well I've never fought your guy before so I'm gonna start with him okay!?

[And before Nel can even answer his question he's already charging towards Nnoitra winding up a punch. With that that scythe... weapon thing. He's probably gonna be hard to hit if he doesn't want to risk having his hand chopped off. So he opts for a very fast barrage of stretched punches to make things harder for the "Bone-Masked" Espada.]

Gomu Gomu no Gatling Gun!

[Meanwhile Lucci's glare shifts slowly from Luffy to Nel. It's obvious from his expression he thinks this entire affair is stupid and pointless, but it IS happening and as such he's not letting his guard down. Soon he'll say only one word. Nel will probably barely be able to hear it:]

"Soru..." [And with that he does what is practically the equivalent of a flash step towards Nel and aims a kick at her face. The one to attack first sets the rhythm of things after all.]

[Nel can only watch in astonishment as Luffy throws himself at Nnoitra with a complete lack of regard for his own safety. But Lucci's attack doesn't give her any time to worry about him. She raises up her bare arm to block the kick, holding it just inches away from her head, and swings up with her blade, aiming at his chest.

Nnoitra, meanwhile, takes Luffy's blows directly on the chin. At first he simply grins them off... but after the first few, his eyes widen a little in surprise. It looks like Luffy is dishing out a lot more than he expected.

His face twists in sudden anger and he twists his weapon so that the edge is facing Luffy. Swinging it up at a speed that someone so thin looking should not be able to manage, he aims straight for his midsection, looking to bisect Luffy.]

[Normally there would be no way for him to dodge it, but luckily Luffy is a little creative when he fights. He does a little hop into the air and slams both feet on the blunt sides of the weapon to stop it from touching him and prevent himself from being like sliced in half by that move.]

Gomu Gomu no BULLET! [Now he's going to aim a very strong stretched fist right at Nnoitra's face.]

[Even as the blade is headed at a fast pace towards Lucci's chest, he keeps his cool and his expression remains unchanged.]

"Tekkai!" [And as soon as the blade hits his chest it simply stops there. As if it had just sliced at metal.]

"Soru!" [He disappears, only to appear above her head, kicking at the wind so fast and hard that it creates blades of slicing sharp winds that head straight down at her.] "Rankyaku!"

[Say what you will about Nnoitra, but he does seem to learn from his mistakes. Rather than take that blow head on, he moves his head to the side quickly... and sticks out his tongue.

A brief glow is the only warning before Nnoitra's Cero fires.]

Hierro? [An Arrancar's "Iron Skin" is what Nel naturally thinks of when confronted with that barrier. She leaps away, trying to put some distance between them and try another tactic.

This proves to have been a very good idea as he starts kicking razor winds at her, since the momentum makes it easier for her to dodge. But she knows she can't run forever. Tucking and rolling away from one of the kicks, she comes up into a crouch and opens her mouth wide, firing off her Cero at her airborne opponent in hopes of catching him by surprise.]
