15th Proclamation: [Voice]

Feb 21, 2010 12:10

I'm confused... wasn't the holiday a week ago? Why is everyone suddenly talking about it now?

Lilynette, have you settled in okay?

[OOC: Valvalis has first dibs, but once she's tagged in, feel free to go wild. Free, but the Val/Nel thread is getting a little risque. Proceed with caution!]

love event, nel/valvalis, you're all a week late, she's got no idea

Because it's never too late to celebrate holidays, Ms.

But just as many people are complaining as are celebrating.

Of course! Complaining is a very important part of every celebration.

That doesn't make much sense to me.

People need to let go of their bad feelings to make some space for the good ones! It can be very productive at times.

I suppose that does make sense. But it's a pity they can't think of a method other than ruining the fun others are having.

Oh no no no, you misunderstand! By complaining to others, they let people complain at them and also purge their bad feelings. It's a very give-and-take relationship!

In the end, a holiday is the sweetest when the preparations are a little bitter.

That's... an interesting take on it. I've never thought of it like that before.

There is a silver lining in every cloud, miss. The easiest way to love the world around you is to look for it.
