Do not answer this unless you have had a relationship or are in a relationship that has lasted for more than 6 months:

1. laughter... and just having fun. being spontaneous. knowing what makes the other person laugh, and what makes them upset. aaaand i just happen to think that tickle fights and rhasberries( not the food) are the greatest things ever created... and the funniest. also that you can have little arguments and be able to laugh at the end of it.
2. long talks... if you have something on your mind, whether it be bad or good... they want to know. so tell them. if you can have 2+ hour conversations with that person you know that something is going right. also if you can talk to one another and be comfortable with/about physical parts of the relationship.
3. affection... and being able to show it. i know i am personally a huge fan of the whole holding hands type thing. if you're able to walk up to him and give him a kiss in front of your friends... BETTER YET... if he walks up to you and gives you a kiss in front of HIS friends.. you know something is right. but nothing gross... not like PDA violation worthy.. liek groping. blah. hahahah
