[Luke is in a bit of a bad mood himself. That's his best friend they're messing with, and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it! And that just frustrates him so much... But once he sees Natalia sitting there, he sets aside his own worries to go to her.]

[He gives a little smile of greeting before he moves to sit beside her on the steps. Man, what a day.]

Luke watches what he does, if only to distract him a little more.]

A lot of those people look like they can take care of themselves, but... still. If the Molasses are as bad as I've heard... [Well, it's not like he's memorized their name. He'll keep going, unaware.] And why can't we come along? It isn't fair!

I agree, I do not like the fact that we have to stay behind. [Guy... she doesn't want anything to happen to him.]

There has to be something else we can do.

I am not sure yet, that is why I was looking through the journal for some clues.

But perhaps we should talk to Asch, or someone who has been here longer.

Asch might know something. I'll try asking him later... Next time I see him. [If he'll bother giving him the time of day, anyway.

He leans over a bit, bumping shoulders with Natalia as he looks down at the journal. It's both to get a good look at the journal and to give her a little bit of physical comfort.]

I will try as well. [The contact is appreciated Luke. She opens her journal back up and skims over the page with a finger.]

Mostly I was re-reading the information that has already been given. None of it seemed of any more use though.
