Okay, so this place was weird. Weird enough that Kara's first thought isn't that mister home invader is some sort of serial rapist or something. Which is lucky for mister home invader.

"That pizza was totally going to be my lunch today," she growled.

There's a pause on his part as he glances at the slice of pizza sitting in his hand then back at Kara. This probably wasn't the best way to start off a new relationship with his hopeful roommate, but... Well, he was hungry!

"Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't realize this thing--you said it was a pizza?--was yours! Did you make it yourself?" A comical, yet apologetic smile is spread over his face, yet that doesn't stop him from taking another bite.

Kara narrowed her eyes and stepped forward. He did look kind of harmless in that naive, "I'm breaking into your home and stealing your food but not out of malice" kind of way. Still, breaking into a girl's apartment was not cool at all.

"I didn't, I paid for it to be delivered," she said. "Is it good?"

"Yes, actually!" Ling beams. "I've never had anything like this before."

He probably should be more concerned about the way she's look at him and the fact that she's moving closer, but he figures he doesn't present much of a threat to deserve violence.

Kara crossed her arms and started tapping her foot as she gave this guy a very exhausted expression. He was definitely here because he was an idiot, not because he was dangerous; like a stupid puppy that didn't know better. It was a good thing too because that meant the difference between a beat down and displacement.

"You know, it's really important to eat pizza in the right place," she said.

There was a certain place for eating pizza? Well, he supposed that was possible--after all, he'd been learning about holidays other worlds celebrated, so why shouldn't this person have traditions about where they ate?--but...

"But I like eating it right here!"

"No, really, it adds to the experience," she said, stepping closer and laying a hand around the guy's shoulder, tightly gripping his collar as she did so. It was a shame, he seemed nice enough and if he had just showed up on her door asking for food she would have been more than happy to oblige.

"Tell me, can you swim?"

[ooc: I hope her grabbing his collar was okay. Is it alright if she flies him out over the ocean and drops him?]

Ling tried to back up as she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, but it was too late. He eyed her carefully, trying to decide what it was she was planning on doing, and how likely it would be that he could escape.

"Well enough." He stared at her, trying to pull away from her grip, but stopped struggling once he got the meaning behind her words. Oh, no way!

[ooc; Fine with me! And yes, that's perfectly cool~]

"Okay, I won't drop you too far from the shore then," she promised him. With that, she tightened her grip and flew out of the apartment, stopping a few seconds later when she was a good two stories up over the ocean.

"See, doesn't it taste much better here?"

Too far from the shore? But he hadn't agreed to that! He tried not to squirm too much, more out of fear that he would fall and splatter all over the ground than anything else.

"Ahaha, I see your point, I suppose." Ling said nervously, hanging onto the hand that held his shirt tightly. He glanced down at the water, then looking back up at her. "I'm really really sorry, so I don't suppose you could put me down now?"

"Well, since you're really, really sorry I guess that helps," she said, giving him her most pleasant face. "My name is Supergirl, or Kara. And now that you know where I live, you're welcome to knock on the front door sometime and ask if I want to hang out for lunch."

If it was possible, her smile got even sweeter. "And you're right, I should let you go."

And let go she did, right over the ocean.

"Ling Yao! And thank you, thank you so much Kara--" He started to say profusely, but he never had the chance to finish his sentence before he was released, and he fell into the ocean with a loud "Nooooooooooooooo!" and a splash.
