This month has been relatively slow for me, since school just started and that's been eating up a lot of my time. Still, there are somethings still worth mentioning:
Daphne Millbrook was actually tagged around (yay!) and then I went on hiatus for a week and sort of fucked up my plans for her (boo!). She might yet get a post on Sunday, we'll see how much time I have, seeing as this weekend will also feature a mini-hiatus -- or, at the very least, Epic Slow Time. She's fun, her voice is still very much present, and I have Plans for her, so she's not going anywhere yet.
Kate Bishop will never go into an Opposite Plot again. I wanted to strangle her the entire time and that's not conducive to playing her. Other than that, there's the drama of Vanessa's arrival to contend with and what that means for her and Nate. It's been a quiet month for Kate, for all that she's had a shitload of threads, but I think I once again found my footing with her after the shenanigans, so there's that.
Peter Parker will ALSO never go into an Opposite Plot again, because I ALSO wanted to strangle him, the lousy douchebag. (I will note, however, that it was worth it for the dancing.) He's spent most of the month working off his community service hours off-screen and researching, as always, something to keep his favourite 'canucklehead' (yeah, I'll never get over that bit of canon wtfery, Scott, thank you) alive to eviscerate another day, and oh, yeah, MARY JANE KISSED HIM, OMFGWTFBBQPOLARBEAR! They're taking things, as Peter told her, 'glacially slow,' because he still harbours a lot of guilt, despite the fact that evidence shows his version of Mary Jane will never show up as long as there's a Mary Jane on the island. On the radar, obviously, is NORMAN OSBORN, BITCHES, and I'm looking forward to this plot a ridiculous amount, you've no idea.
The Future...
Jamie Madrox is on reserve and this has spoilers, so stop reading now if you're planning on reading X-Factor. I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I probably have more to say about him than I do any of my current characters. He's coming right before Layla shows up again, which means he'll be suicidal, volatile, and prone to spouting out Shakespearean monologues -- he had s dupe who was a part of RSC for 18 months, not bad, huh? He'll need to handled with kid gloves by all parties involved, unless they feel like being on the receiving end of more combat training than any one person should have. I'll compile a list, since there's a lot. A lot. Suffice it to say, whatever you learned at Xavier's won't be enough, and now that he doesn't have to worry about creating dupes in the process, he won't be pulling his punches.
Robert Ross is ridiculously loud and would be my Q3 were it not for Jamie making his presence known again. I love him so and have so many ideas for him and I'm looking forward to playing him SOMUCHOMG.
