My first car payment AND the rest of my down payment were unfortunately both supposed to be due today, but we just got a letter in the mail from Chartway saying that they approved the loan... today. So, my dad calls them to see how I'm to go about paying this first payment 5 minutes before the banks close on the day the payment is due, and the lady says I have 30 days to pay the first payment. You don't even know how awesome this is- I was seriously going to have to empty out both accounts to cover these 2 payments. But now I only have to pay the last $350 of my down payment, then I can wait until my next paycheck to pay the first car payment. Awesome.
