I'm waiting for Heather to get here so we can go to ODU and do some last minute stuff. I'm returning 2 books that I found cheaper online, so I should be getting back about $130. I also want to figure out where my classes are going to be. I know the buildings, just not the actual rooms. I get turned around very easily in that place, so knowing ahead of time will be useful for me.
Last night, the owner of our Rudy and Kelly passed away. She'd been fighting cancer for about 2 years, but she never really let on to how much pain she was in, so it was kind of unexpected. We're guessing the funeral will be on Friday, so we'll be shutting down the salon for the day. Death is such a crazy thing to me. Even though I wasn't close to Dianne, I knew her and saw/talked to her pretty regularly, so when Christine told me she had died, it was kind of a shock.
Carrie came in and talked to me for a few minutes last night. I'm excited for her and Jason's wedding, I haven't been to one in a long time. Plus, I'm really happy for them.
