now let's put it into context:
Act 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
Act 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and [from] fornication, and [from] things strangled, and [from] blood.
Act 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Now when was the last time you heard in church that these laws were the path intended for the Gentiles to follow to become complete in Messiah?
If so, then Baptists would never eat at a Chinese restaurant without hesitation again. We never ask the butcher if the animals were slaughtered with love or if they were strangled. We don't drain the blood out from the meat or soak it in water with salt before we cook it up and eat it. So, then, what about that part at the end of the answer to the Judaizers question concerning where Gentiles would get their instructions?
"For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day."
The Torah is a tremendously important part of Gentiles coming to know thier Jewish Messiah, and we are to go to the synagogues every sabbath day and learn the law of Moses.
That is the response to your question. I appreciate your interest.
However, this is not any kind of persuasion for you to follow in my footsteps or some attempt to convert you. If the Spirit leads you to do so, then Baruch HaShem.
I always enjoy your comments and questions.
Have a blessed Shavuot(Pentecost)
thanks,

But you bring up an interesting point. I think Christianity today did kind of for get "where it came from" in regards to Judaism(not the Judaism of today but OT Judaism). We forget that Jesus was a Jew BUT he opened salvation to all.
Since you talk with Jews more often than I do(although I have had cordial debates with them), how to they atone for sin since there temple is gone and with it, the only way they could even attempt to atone for sins. We(Christians/mess. Jews) rely on Christ's blood to wash us but what do they rely on?
Other than orthodox Judaism(which I believe is the minority of Jews), the judaism of today appears quite different than OT Judaism

And the part about food sacrificed to idols is covered in 1 Cor 8; 10:23-33. We don't eat it because of the other man's conscience, not ours. And sexually immorality, obviously we would follow that. I think the key out of all these things lies in 1 Cor 10:30-33 where Paul basically says "Am I really serving God if I offend someone just because I can. No. I should not cause anyoen to stumble and should not seek my own good." Meaning-if i came into a Jewish home(or even your home if you observe this), i would not demand pork or brink a great big sausage sub with me out of respect for there traditions and possibly out of hopes to have God use me to lead them to Christ.
