The feeling is fast and enjoyable
but the wake is longlasting
I know what I do is wrong
But I continue on

In this path of deception

Taking the time to cover my tracks
I know where I'm going

cause there's a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow
one that's already claimed
One that looks so good.
Walking down this path...

This path of deception
Only on it for myself

It's wrong, it's cruel
and it may not be worth it
knowing that today's pleasure
could cause tomorrow's pain
What I do could cause many to hurt
and my selfishness consumes me

And it's all because
