SURPRISE WORK SHIFT!
Welp, Uni's back on so postings going to be limited to maybe twice a week. I'll do my best to post at least once.
This is my second week.
Firstw eek is good;
Day 1: CGI Animation with a Snr Animator from Krome Studios. Which is awesome. So far we've made a pendulum swing and a ball bounce. Exciting stuff.
Day 2: Flash Action Script. Code. Ugh. But the teach (which is a different teach) already knows I suck majorly at code so we're groovy.
Day 3: Animation, Auters and Digital Enviroments. Im not sure what the title is for but pretty much the big assignment its to pick a subject or a theme or an element such as style, music, timing, etc that can be found in games of animation and trace it back to find it's influences. For example... Real Time Stragety Games. Which is my topic. I'll be talking about the origin of strategy games and what their purpose was (i.e: To teach and encourage strategic thought concerning military forces) It's ... surprising fun.
Day 4: Critical games studies. With this awesome woman named Truna who has the best hair ever. Loose curls in shades of red and orange and yellow. She's so cool. Exactly the title. Origins of games, games in a cultural and social context, how they've evolved and changed etc.
So thats been fun. I have the second day of Critical games studies tomorrow. Then Friday off... YEY! :D
Then work Saturday.
Speaking of work, I just finished a shift that I didnt sing of nor was I warned about (cos usually they call you the day before to make sure you know about the shift). No call. I had gotten home like ten meniutes when my phone rang and a manager told me that I was supposed to be at work. Till 8:30.
So cue a rush to get reready and rush walk to work.
Also... bad customers today. Note to Maccas Patrons. You're ordering and you jsut ordered a burger and then you say you wnat sauce... WE are TRAINED to automatically go to grill and add said sauce to burger. You want it separately... TELL US SEPARATELY. If you didnt say sepearetly even AFTER I asked it it was for the burger or separate (cos Im awesome like that)... DO NOT ARGUE AND THEN GET ANNOYED> FUCKERS. *RAGE*
Ok I'm done.
At least I'm getting two 4 hour+ shifts a week now instead of one 3 hour shift per week. Reminds me, need to call head office so I dont get 45% of my pay taken in tax when its not supposed to be.
Ok. On a brighter note I have been writing. Writing fic. Bleach fic. Two of them.
So now it's up to vote.
Do we wants the gloomy multiple death one first (which is the one I've been talking about)? Of the somewhat quirky one where there's a paranormal investigator getting into wacky shenanigans and a ghost that wants open a Gate to Hell(which came like a besser brick to the head out of nowhere)?
