It was the same every month. Every time he'd be tucked back from the others by the woman in charge of the place, even the smallest sliver of a chance of getting out of there in any manner that wasn't his own power being adequately squashed. She'd dress him up, willing to knock him out if he wasn't being agreeable. He hadn't been the first few times. By now though, after three years, he'd resigned himself to the pattern. She'd dress him up, the man would come... After, he'd just pretend that there was no such thing as visiting day.
