my little gerbils are soon to be three and one of them has a bloody scabby ear all the time and i cant figure out if its because of them fighting or if it is because of some sort of skin disease. norman had a pretty beat up bloody face but he got better and is now as healthy as an overweight gerbil could be. so why wont michael's ear get better? i went to a vet and ask them about it and they said it's possible it could be skin disease and that it would be 30 something dollars for just an exam and more if he does end up needing medicine. for a kitty or puppy thats not a problem but for a little old gerbil? oh but how i <3 them.
