I took your hand and walked you to your grave
Held it liked a gentlemen while you walked your decent
I captured my breath in a tiny box
pushed it firmly against your chest
Instead of saying your name
And consumed her thoughts to forget you

I slid into a hole where your voice I did not know
Even now after only a moments digressed
I can no longer recall the distant tone
My minds line chose to distort the connection
A form of security for when your ship takes you

You never stood out
and that is why i saw you
Two Gemini’s in one Virgo’s pea
You are my darkest place inside
But you breathe into the fire
And set it alight
They have not met you
For I don’t know me
You alone hide in my closet
believing they cannot see through the glass doors

I wonder where you see me
If you do at all
Is it that haze in the distance
Or the whore on the floor.
I know you can not see a trembling door
But it has been shaking
It has been shaking

She may have fortresses but I have more
It is the things you can see that you adore
Not the buried hooker under the bedroom floor.
