33 years of strength

33 years of service

33 years of standing strong as the peltings have come

Watching them grow and bloom

Or fall and crash

Some learnt how to fly again

Other exploded on impact

Raising one thousand a year

You where the mother

The mother with eccentric dress

It was always quite clear

That a picnic could have been had

On that chequered dress

Complete with the hats

The flowers larger then it

Chocolates where given for simply being alive

And lollies for motivation

You’ve fed us knowledge

Wisdom and annoyance

You didn’t care as much as you claimed

But then you didn’t have time to

And we wouldn’t let you

You would always smile anyway

33 years of time

That you can not even remember

You have grown the establishment,

You where its mother too

Yet they sit

And ask so cruelly

Who was that women?

With ignorant, absurd, screwed up faces

Though they too,

Where one of your cherubs
