"Vuoi scherzare? Che cazzo?" Lucien couldn't believe his ears and she was nuts. "Papa thinks it could be a good investment. We asked this woman to come with us, but it's not enough," Adriana said with a sigh. "So you want my father's money," Lucien said flatly. He had been forced to meet him after he ran into his siblings once. He knew nothing about his real father,but the princess seemed to be connected to everyone. It had been strange,but once his father realized that Lucien didn't need him, registered for the Academy and had his brother for company, he relaxed a bit.
"Per favore? Bart could come with you," Adriana pleaded. "Ugh...he'll kill you. He doesn't even know the truth and my father will want to meet him. Fine-I'll ask my father,but don't involve Bart. I have enough headaches," Lucien grumbled. Bart was the only siblling he cared about and his stepmother wasn't being fair. Damien was a lunatic, his revenge went far beyond what Elanor did and Lucien knew that he was an experiment. Lucien didn't want or need Will or Elanor's love or acceptance and it warmed him towards him somewhat.

Lucien wanted to throw up when he met his brother's new wife. She was too cold and robotic,but once in awhile,he'd see a look in her eyes. She was afraid and emotional,but couldn't do anything. It wasn't just wrong, it was sick. Kalika had no one to talk to,she always looked around to see if anyone was watching and she'd cry in her sleep.
"You're not being fair. I doubt he knows,he's not a monster and this is her father's doing. What do you think will happen if I say something? You and I will get punished,they'll reprogram her and she'll have to see someone she cares about die. Let's take her with us. Monsieur Lamaire knows her,his family saved her and she'll have some breathing room. So long as Gabriel or any of the others don't know, it'll be fine," Adriana suggested.

It was cruel to keep her away from her parents and family and take her out of school. He'd give Franco the benefit of the doubt,but it was still gross to marry a doll who had Adriana's soul.
