slowly learning to cook
Yup, another one of those entries, my adventures in cooking. I really should focus more on my photography, but as the cooking is taking up a lot of time I’m focusing on that.
Last week I made meat loaf, in my slow cooker. I love my slow cooker, that and my rice cooker are the most commonly used appliances in my house. The meat loaf was a little bland in my opinion, but I am used to my mom’s. I’ll try making it again sometime and add some more seasoning.
Today I’m making mac and cheese. Again using the slow cooker. I decided to alter the recipe I used last time, again, because I had bacon on hand. Also made sure to get pepper jack cheese for a bit of a kick. Hoping this turns out right. I didn’t realize until after starting cooking that I forgot to grease my pot. We’ll see.
And now I’m off to work on other projects, some I may even take pictures of.
