A night of horrors

Sep 13, 2005 12:50

Well about 1:30 in the morning today I get this call from my mom. The other side of her apartment building started on fire. Three families lost there apartments but the Fire Department did an awsome job containing it and making sure everyone was out safe.

So I show up, mind you I don't live there, with blankets, gallons of water that I bought out of my own pocket and I find everyone crying and panicking. I did what came natural to me. I went up to people I didn't even know and comforted them, I helped the family the most by making them smile and comforting there oldest daughter who was balling, even the red cross was amazed at all that I was doing.

So far I have been called, a hero, a savior, an Angel, a god send, the best guy in the world, and a sweatheart. Everyone keeps telling my mother how lucky she is to have such a careing and loving son.

I want to do more for these people so bad, I don't know them but there like my mom's friends and pseudo-family.

If anyone has it in there heart to try and help these people that lost there homes contact me please. 562-1511. A disaster struck home last night and I'm going to help the best I can. I plan on spending the majority of tonight over there
