Our cat is out. Little brat ran out an open door. So now the door has to stay open until she decides to slink back in. Which means I'm awake until she returns. Which means I am going through and seriously cleaning my friends lists ( Read more... )

So just a quick note. We had a pretty big falling out that I think was caused by misunderstandings which were amplified by both of us being in over- emotional states of mind because of other things going on in our lives at that time. Just to let you know that I've wondered how you are doing, and I've missed you. If you'd be interested in talking and possibly working on getting a friendship back, I'd like that. If you're not comfortable with that, it's okay, and I wish you well.

Hey there.
The disagreement was definitely escalated because of other events that we were each dealing with, I agree. I am doing well and have been working to better myself and my life (successfully in this regard at least) for some time now.
I would be happy to talk with you again, get caught up on things but I do need to be honest in regards to rebuilding our friendship. I have missed the sense of family I had at Sidhehaven - the sense of acceptance and belonging - but I also don't believe that I could regain that feeling after all this time. However, I do not want you to feel that I resent or begrudge you in any way, for the direction my path has taken me. I accept that people change and grow over time and I wish you (and all of Sidhehaven) only happiness.

Would you like to get together for coffee or dinner some time? My schedule is a little crazy, but I do make it up to Seattle at lease every other week. Or would you like to come down here for dinner some time? Let me know what would work for you and I will juggle my calendar around.

That sounds like a good idea. I work until 4 Sat-Wed these days so am typically home before 5 and we could meet up anywhere you like for coffee/tea.

I'm sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to you, my schedule is as crazy as always. Wednesdays are good for me to come up that way, so pretty much any Wed. (except next week, there is already something else on the calendar) I'd be happy to come up and meet for coffee. Do you like Wayward coffeehouse in the Greenwood area?

As I don't drink coffee, I'm pretty flexible on shops, as long as they have tea or hot cocoa. :)

How about two weeks from now? The 30th?

Tuesday the 30th? Or Wednesday the 31st? Wednesday would be better for me, but if the Tuesday works best for you I can make that happen. Wayward does indeed have tea and cocoa. Here is a link to their website: http://www.waywardcoffee.com/

I am very bad at dates, aren't I?

I am picking someone up from the airport at 7:30 on the 31st. Let me get back to you once I've looked at my schedule, everything got a lot more "interesting" in the last 72 hours.

No problem, just let me know. The week after that would be fine also. It's nice to just be communicating with you again and I'll look forward to when we can sit down and talk in person.

The 8th is open on my calendar so I put you on there just so I don't accidentally double-schedule myself again.

And yes, communication = good. :)
