So the other night a bunch of us went to Perkins (yeah, it's the highlight of our week..) and the funniest thing happened! Before a bunch of people got there, it was only me, Angela, George, John, and Gaby. George was telling everyone about some cartoon he saw on YouTube that was really funny. He had to say the word "diarrhea" a couple different times and all of a sudden, this lady screams at him to stop because she is trying to eat, etc. George (Mid-story) looks at her and says, "Okay." and then looks back at everyone else and continues to tell the story. That, in itself, was hilarious. Then as the couple was leaving, Gaby said "Diarrhea" as they were walkig out. The guy, turns around and gets in George's face and says, "Why do you have to be such a smartass?" (And he's hick, so imagine the accent..) And George says, "What the hell are you talking about, I didn't say anything." and the guy says, "Why'd you have to say that as we were walking out?" and Gaby says, "I said it." So the guy says, "I don't care who said it, if you say anything else (looking at George) I'ma bust YOU in the mouf, (Points to Gaby) and I'ma bust YOU in the mouf, and (points at JOHN, who had said NOTHING) I'ma bust YOU in the mouf!" The guys started to get riled and I just looked at the guy and said, "Okay, well we'll call the cops then." and he says, "I don't care.." and starts to walk away. It was insane and insanely funny. The general manager of Perkins threatened to throw us out until our waitress stuck up for us, telling him we are regulars and how the guy threatened us. It was so retarded. But it makes for a good story. And the guy seriously said MOUF.. Not mouth, MOUF, with an F. It made me laugh. ;) I love a good Perkins night with the crew!
Work has been going good. Erin is leaving at the end of the month and that's sad. It was pretty busy this week, especially last night! It was a little crazy! And I had to close with a new girl who had never closed before! AND.. One of our registars were $100 short and I was flipping out. But Lora called today and told me she found it. Man, I was freaking out about it last night. It seriously made my tummy hurt! lol But I'm glad they found it!
I think George found a job... IN THE MALL! LOL I think he's going to be working at Great Steak with his buddy George who worked at Tony Romas with him. He won't be making as much as he did at Smokey Bones, but anything is good right now. And my job more than makes up for it! So that's very, very good. An answer to our prayers!
My Christmas cards are being processed as I type, so expect them out sometime next week! I'm pretty excited about them, they are def. cute! :) Woop! Oh, and the other day is snowed.. In the morning. And I probably would have loved it, except I had to work and I had to drive in it. That's dumb. But it was pretty. I guess. ;)
I miss Angela. Our lives have just been getting in the way lately and it sucks. And I don't go to the "parties" because most of the time, I don't agree with the things that go on there or I prefer to not be around certain people. So I don't see her then either. But I don't have to hang out with her everyday to know we're friends. Hang outs don't make or break our friendship and that's why I love her so much. :) Still though, I'm in need of some Shangela time. <3
RENT is next Sunday and I CAN'T WAIT! I'm so excited. I love to get all dolled up and look pretty! And, uh, DUH! I love me some RENT with my most favorite people! (minus Gaby and John, of course!) We're also having dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery (call it tradition..) and I l.o.v.e. that place! I'm so excited.
I still want to go to the Cabaret, but it would have to be a weekday because that's the only day they have discounts on tickets. But it runs through Jan. 12th, so we have time. I would just really like to see it soon! We haven't been to the Shadowbox in a YEAR! That's too crazy for words. ;) LOL
Well, I'm done passing the time.. PEACE OUT!
