It's the strongest word I know. Love. I feel embarrassed to say it. I hate when other people say it to me. It feels misused, and untrue. I feel like whenever I hear it, that person is lying to me, wrapped in a soft affectionate tone. Straight to my face, with a smile. Lying. What is love? Why does it cause such a repulsive reaction in me.
