One that sinks you into sleep.
I wish I had magnificent strength
so I could sweep you off your feet.
I wish I had some useful skill
to prove that all this love is true.
I hope these little words will do.
and yet
You sink and sly
and run away.
The painful grip
the words betray
A simple soft hopeful sound
never came
