Oh god this episode was fantastic. This was the Futurama I knew and loved, I am so relieved that this episode came out when it did; I was starting to lose hope. There were so many jokes that made me laugh and think "this is like a joke from episode #!” Man, even the meeting room montage made me really happy, with the Freedom Day dance on the table and everything!

I loved this episode. It had a good mix of funny and sweet in it. Once Fry was late for work I went "OH!" because of the title, but it was a good way to tie the two things together.

Leela missing Fry was well done...it was funny when she held up the picture of him and behind it was Cubert, but it was a little strange to think that she'd settle with him, even in that moment. She didn't cry over Fry but still missed him enough to say that the short time they had together was special, and her message was great. Another touching Futurama moment.

The buddy moments between the Professor, Bender, and Fry were just pure gold, especially when they took out a six pack just to watch the world end, together, in the Professor’s time machine when the Universe was ending. Sometime during their adventure Bender mentioned during the episode that he didn’t care much for everyone else in the past. Many seasons ago Bender made it clear that he didn’t care for anyone else but himself, and for him to FINALLY admit that he cares about someone (Fry) contributes a Hell of a lot of character development.

I recommend this episode to longtime Futurama fans. With this episode and its continuity, you can’t miss.
