That was my away message today...and when I returned home I had this message awaiting me:
"downtown chitown? you must be home....im in brazil....send me some love and let me know whats up.....peace out' -Will Puth-
He is such a rock star. He is very missed...and will be for some time. The RG team is moving to PA(Ohio) 2 days after they get back from Brazil...so who knows when I will see them again. Woe is me...but alas, we move on.
Speaking of downtown chitown...today was very rockin times with Matt. We went to the Museum of Science and Industry where lots of nifty little facts were learned, birth was witnessed (a baby chick), and buttons were pushed here and there and everywhere.
After, we went to dinner at Navy Pier...a restaurant called Be-Bop something? It was nice, the waitor was cool. He sneezed in his hands a few times, hope he washed them. He made me a very nice fruity girly drink...I actually had two! Which made my face feel warm. Matt told me Im cool and not boring...a bit of a good rebel in me? Made me feel nice...Ive never gotten such a compliment. Ive always thought of myself as a rather boring, mundane type person...so it was refreshing to hear! He is cool and not boring as well...a very enjoyable person. At dinner we purposely 'ate slow' to be able to hear the be-bop 'bopology' band. I love live entertainment. Live music is so much better than radio or cd...I really wonder sometimes what it would be like back in the times before recorded music existed?
After dinner...we had to search for the car...which was ever so slightly adventuresome.
Then we headed back to the burbs...and decided on meeting Matt's friend Jaime at Starbucks. I liked meeting her. She is really sweet and a pretty interesting girl. I like that she is a dancer. And it was fun to hear about her experience with resume writing and how she got her internship/job...it shows that she has a fun character about her.
Such a long day has left me exhausted. My legs and eyes are pretty tired. But my mind is rather alert...I blame the mocha. It was all worth it. Matt is a cool kid, I approve. As well as admire him...because his heart makes me smile.
