So, I have a question... purely conversation, this.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever been arrested for? Or got into trouble for, for those of you who have avoided law enforcement.
[Gunn is posting this question from a nice, nondescript table on Deck 8, with three beers on the table in front of him. One is empty, one is half-full, and the other

Riiight. Haven't done anything illegal at all?

Depends on the state. I did go it on my own for a while, looking for you.
[Oddly, it's not bitter. It's just a statement of fact.]

I'm surprised you had any leads to follow considering I've been here since...[She does some quick calculations.] Since you turned eighteen, technically. I think.
Where did you end up looking anyway?

And... yeah, I was 27 when I started looking for you.
Started in Florida, in a smuggling ring. Branched out from there... got the information from a client I was representing.

Wasn't exactly legal, though.

[He snorts lightly, but it doesn't sound derisive; at least not too much.]
It's possible. That's one thing I can thank him for, at least.

Most passengers aren't happy to be on board. Gunn was glad to have found her however it was stupid for her to assume that her presence alone made him okay with the circumstances.]
You have your other family back home. You miss them don't you.
[She says this more as a statement than a question.]
They taught you the value of family, I imagine.

I did, but I hadn't contacted them in a while before I got here. My searching... like I said, it wasn't exactly legal. I didn't want to involve them, get them into trouble.
They were part of it. Experience was the other half. [Losing her, for example.]
