november/december are undoubtedly the best winter/cold months
SCHOOL IS ALMOST OVER!
okay lets see what i haven't been telling you all
i got an internship at the coffee shop i work at for next year as the marketing manager. i'm really really pumped about it, i'm already thinking up ideas for marketing campaigns i want to run
TOMS got back to me about being a campus representative for them at IWU but i don't really know if i can handle it on top of the internship and school, although i am only taking 13 credit hours ( seriously pumped on that one too) so i think i might give it a shot
Thanksgiving break was the best one i've ever had. tuesday was tim's surprise party but it was tony, amy, jordan, ray, hydi, dustin, and kyle that made the evening worthwhile. thankfully i got the fun car on the long ride all the way to marion... wednesday was organization, settling in, and spending time with momma, then watching tessa cheer and then new moon with amy molly and maggie :). thursday was grandmas and then to my uncles with my dad and tessa and tony, for probably the most ridiculous thanksgiving i've ever had, but relatively fun. tony and i got offered martinis probably 5 times throughout the night. friday was EARLY 6:30 shopping with molly and amy and amy was the non-wake-upper this year. mcdonalds breakfast and steak and shake lunch. then friday night was ray and hydi's thanksgiving party which was fun and nice and out of my norm. after the party tony jordan amy and i went home where i made a strange concoction from cranberry sauce, dark chocolate, and brie and amy and i socialized with my tipsy mother and her boyfriend. Saturday was sleep till eleven and then odds and ends around the house, then tony, jordan, amy, molly, and i had our study date where we all oddly sat around silently focused like we never do. we watched americas next top model, elf, and the wedding planner. i read an entire economics book about the crappy economy. Sunday was sleep until eleven again, stay in my pajamas all day, watch the green mile with tony in our pjs, and write an 8 page paper!
i like how none of my tenses match in that paragraph. i feel so accomplished about getting that out exactly the way it goes in my head.
and now i'm back at school. we had mingle and jingle decorating at mcconn last night and that was fun, i have the best job ever!
i did the most enormous study guide ever this evening, feeling accomplished about that too
this week is prep week, and next week is presentation week, and then the next week is finals and then hooooommmmeee!!
i'm gonna work the first two weeksish of break at payless but hopefully not much or i'm just backing out completely
