wow. where do i start? maybe it's just tired and i'm feeling conceited, but for some reason, i can't help but thinking that this entry is somehow related to or inspired by my life right now. if i'm wrong, i'm sorry, but if i'm right - i haven't abandoned any of my beliefs in order to fit in anywhere, with anybody, for any reason. if anything, the things going on have made me even more sure of what it is that i think and believe and love. allowing yourself the opportunity to get to become better acquainted with somebody who is more different from you than most of the people you've gotten to know in a similar way isn't abandoning all principles and former convictions - unless of course God has laid it on your heart not to get to know the said person (in which case continuing the relationship would unquestionably be a sin). i whole-heartedly agree with the fact that there are absolutes (and that the those who say there are none are in fact making an absolute statement). that's something that gets talked about all of the time, and i think more and more people are becoming aware of it.
"I just wish i could understand how one minute people can be super-sold on a belief and the next minute giving it up for sex or attention or just not to be alone." i wish that you were here right now so that you could see how annoyed i am.
