It was late. The dark night took over the blue sky. I got out of the car, watching all around me. My friends who did the same, started to follow the music to a huge building, leaving me behind without any instructions. I could hear speaking, laughing and sometimes screaming. I looked around me over and over again, looking for a face not unknown but they were all gone: right, left, anywhere, looking for the joy, searching for any blessing.

I started to walk, still discovering everything around me. The club opened me his arms, invited me to go in, listening and finding new mysteries. Why the hell have I accepted to come here? Specially that I didn’t like people. Too many people around made me angry, under stress almost scared but despite of these I didn’t want to back off so I just came in, ready to face a crush of strangers.

After having walked in some places and small corridors full of weird rooms, I finally arrived in the main place. Lights were everywhere, playing a challenge with the darkness, the shapes and also making me completely blind. As I tried to get my eyes used to that, they suddenly met the look of someone else.

A girl. I had the feeling to already know her from somewhere. Judging by the way she stared and the face expression she wore, I guess she was feeling the same. But how? Where? It didn’t make any sense to me right now. I just kept looking, didn’t want to put my eyes away, still praying to find why I was acting like this.

One second, two seconds... strangers who were dancing all around the place suddenly came in front of us, breaking our only contact. Led by my instinct and the need to understand, I started to walk right straight on. I was definitely facing all the things that I hated but I didn’t mind. My eyes couldn’t quit the area where we shared our first look and where I felt for the first time a new feeling. Suddenly after being blow several time, the space started to be clear.

She was still here. She was waiting and only a few meters were tearing us apart. Closer than ever.

She took my hand and started to lead me in a distant corner. I just followed her, with all my trust still confused by what was happening at this moment. She didn’t turn back even once while she was taking us away. For a moment, I thought about my friends. Plus, what they could think if they saw me in that position. But well, it didn’t really matter after all, I could have a whole night with them but only one song with her.

She moved back against the wall as her look captured mine, mesmerized me. She had a shy and cute smile that I sent her back. No words, nothing. All the people around made us being so close that I could pressed my forehead against hers. Or maybe it was just a pretext.

At this moment, it was completely a whole new world. We were alone. Together and aslo on our own.

I had 2 choices. I could ask all the questions which were burning on my lips. I could have the answers I wanted so badly but it would aslo mean crush this. Sometimes words were useless. So I kept the silence as I could feel her gentle breath against my skin which was driving me insane. Our foreheads still pressed against each other, I closed my eyes forgetting the place, the persons, and the reality. The song was almost over. Her fingers intertwined mine, making me understand that it would be time. She lifted up her head to share a last look and a last smile giving me hope at the same time. She put one of her hand on my eyes making me close them and when I was able to re-open them and see what was around, I was alone in the middle of what I was calling “nowhere”.

I put myself together, watching desperately all over the place in order to find that girl but she wasn’t here anymore. I never found her and of course I never got my answers. All she left me, was that stupid smile on my face and that stupid feeling to believe that there was finally still hope somewhere.

Ps: We have to sign the contract for my apartment around the 25th February which means I'll move after my training period, so around the 12th March. I can't wait ♥
